Sony Ericsson and Vodaphone are planning to release new walkman phone in first quarter of 2009. Sony Ericsson W715 slider phone features 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, aGPS, 120 MB of internal memory, 900 / 2100 HSDPA and its is also a quad band handset.

New slider phone is going to be released in March this year by Samsung under the model name S8300. Samsung S8300 is a touchscreen phone with 2.8-inch WQVGA 16m color AMOLED display with widget – based interface, toped up with features such as Bluetooth 2.1, FM RDS radio, 7.2Mbps HSDPA and 60 MB of internal memory extendable with memory card.

Nokia modified classic Nokia 6208 handset and released it with touchscreen. This is unique mobile phone as both has touchscreen and alphanumeric keypad. Also, this modified Nokia 6208 weren’t be running under Symbian 9.4 S60 5th Edition as a Symbian S40 interface will be installed to support touchscreen feature. No word from Nokia about prices and release date.

Motorola releasing new Motorola Prizm handset in Korea. This mobile phone featuring 2.8 inch 260 k color TFT touchscreen display at 240 x 400 resolution, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 connectivity memory card slot, 3 MP camera and e-wallet function. However, there is no info about price for Motorola Prizm.

LG and Franklin Covey combined their effort and released LG-SU100 on Korean market. This handset offers AM OLED WVGA 3 inch touchscreen display, TV tuner, camera and Bluetooth. There is no word of pricing yet and no information about other possible markets of distribution for LG-SU100.
